STEPS IN: PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The building project design idea is carefully examined by a decision-making team to determine its feasibility.
The project plan is put in writing, outlining the work to be done. Special emphasis is laid on prioritizing the project, calculating a budget and schedule and determining the resources needed.
Tasks and responsibilities are assigned based on the work plan, time and cost schedules, giving emphasis to critical activities.
The Project Manager compares project status and progress against the actual plan, as resources perform the scheduled work.
The Client approves the outcome once, project tasks are completed. Project evaluation is conducted to highlight the successes and challenges of the project.
